Uniform standards

  • Navy blue Academy jumper (untucked).
  • Navy blue logo Academy blazer with correct badge for the year group.
  • White shirt fastened to the neck.
  • Mid-grey trousers (loose fitting only) with grey socks or alternatively a specific mid-grey pleated skirt (not rolled up) with black opaque tights 60 denier or higher.
  • Academy tie.
  • Suitable black shoes – no trainers.
  • No jewellery except one pair of stud earrings allowed.
  • Hair colour to be kept a natural colour and eyelashes to be natural.
  • Nails are natural and short.

PE Kit

  • Full PE kit including plain black top, black leggings & black hoodie.
  • Remove ALL jewellery before PE.
  • Tie long hair up before sport.
  • No metal studs on the Astro.

The Academy has a distinctive uniform and a firm code of practice. Students at The Discovery Academy are expected to wear appropriate uniform at all times.
